Improve the availability, security, deployment reliability and performance of the vaayaa web platform and its supporting infrastructure.
This is a remote contract role. You can work from anywhere in India. Experience level: 5 or more years.
What you will do
- Maintain deployment pipelines, application configuration and consistent environments
- Monitor application health, server resources, logs and service availability
- Improve caching, queue processing, database performance and recovery procedures
- Automate backups, deployment checks and operational alerts
- Lead incident investigation, root-cause analysis and follow-up improvements
- Plan security updates and capacity with the engineering team
What you bring
- 5 or more years of experience running Linux, Nginx, PHP-FPM and production deployments
- Familiarity with Redis, MySQL, monitoring and automated deployments
- Understanding of access control, secrets management, backups and incident response
- Ability to diagnose performance bottlenecks and service failures
- Strong operational documentation and troubleshooting skills
