Build and maintain a consistent, accessible design system for the vaayaa course reading experience, checkout, learner dashboard and partner tools.
This is a remote contract role. You can work from anywhere in India. Experience level: 2 to 5 years.
What you will do
- Maintain design tokens, component specifications, typography rules and spacing standards
- Define reusable patterns for navigation, forms, tables, alerts and reading screens
- Review designs for accessibility, responsive behavior and usability
- Work with engineers so that designs are built exactly as specified
- Document component states, interaction rules and design decisions
- Find inconsistencies across product screens and recommend improvements
What you bring
- 2 to 5 years of experience with design systems, product design or interface standards
- Strong Figma component, variant and library management skills
- Understanding of WCAG accessibility principles and keyboard navigation
- Familiarity with responsive layouts, semantic HTML and design-to-development handoff
- Ability to balance visual consistency with practical usability
