This is a remote contract role. You can work from anywhere in India. Experience level: 2 to 5 years.
What you will do
- Review factual claims, statistics, dates, terminology and referenced materials
- Evaluate source credibility, relevance, publication dates and strength of evidence
- Find unsupported claims, outdated information and conflicting references
- Maintain source registers and reference quality checklists
- Work with subject matter specialists to resolve discrepancies
- Help standardize evidence requirements across course categories
What you bring
- 2 to 5 years of experience in research, academic editing, fact-checking, technical writing or publishing
- Strong research methods and source evaluation skills
- Clear written English and familiarity with citation styles
- Ability to separate established facts, interpretations and uncertain claims
- Careful documentation habits and a commitment to editorial integrity
